Are you considering traveling from the UK to Ireland for a hair transplant? Every week, HRBR in Dublin, Ireland, welcomes patients from across the UK for consultations and surgeries.
Easy Travel Between the UK and Ireland
Travel between the UK and Ireland is seamless, thanks to the excellent flight connections. Most major UK airports offer direct flights to Dublin, including those from Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Southampton, and Cardiff. The London–Dublin air route is one of the busiest in Europe, with Aer Lingus, Ryanair, and British Airways operating from all six of London’s airports to Dublin Airport.
Upon arrival in Dublin, HRBR offers a private, complimentary, and discreet chauffeur service to its surgical patients, transporting patients directly from the airport to the clinic.
Travel from Northern Ireland
If you’re traveling from Northern Ireland, you can take advantage of the freedom of movement within the Common Travel Area (CTA), which has been in place since 1923. No passport is required for Irish and UK citizens traveling between the two countries, although it’s advisable to carry a form of ID, especially if flying.
The Common Travel Area (CTA)
The CTA allows for unrestricted travel between Ireland and the UK, even post-Brexit. There are no visa requirements for UK citizens traveling to Ireland. This ease of movement makes planning your trip for a hair transplant at HRBR simple and hassle-free.
Do I Need a Visa to Travel to Ireland?
No, UK citizens do not need a visa to travel to Ireland, as Ireland is part of the Common Travel Area (CTA) with the UK.
However, starting in 2025, UK citizens will require an ETIAS visa to visit other EU or Schengen countries. This will not affect travel to Ireland.
