Travelling from the UK

Dublin is an easy place to get to from the UK by both air and sea. There are direct flights to Dublin from London’s Heathrow, Luton, City, Stansted, Southend and Gatwick airports. The average flying time is just one hour. Two ferry companies operate the route from Holyhead to Dublin.

If travelling from the UK or beyond for an appointment with HRBR please let the staff know at the time of booking. They will organize our complementary and private car service to transport you to HRBR from Dublin Airport.

HRBR is approximately a 45-minute journey from Dublin Airport, depending on the time of day and traffic.

If you choose to travel by sea, Dun Laoghaire Port and Dublin Port are approximately 10 and 30 minutes away from HRBR respectively.

Sea Travel

Irish Ferries

If you’re travelling with a car, the ferry from Holyhead will take you to Dublin Port in just under two hours (1 hour 49 minutes) with Irish Ferries. You arrive close to the East Link Toll Bridge and once you have gone through it, we recommend that you follow the coast road in the direction of Blackrock. HRBR is roughly 30 minutes from Dublin Port, depending on the time of day and traffic.

Stena Line

You can also travel with Stena Line from Holyhead to either Dublin Port or Dun Laoghaire Port in 3 hours 15 minutes and 2 hours respectively. There are also four sailings each day with Stena Line’s craft. See www.stenaline.ie for further information.

Train Details

HRBR is easily accessible from both main train stations in Dublin. The nearest DART station is Blackrock. It is a 5-7-minute walk to HRBR.

If you are arriving at Heuston Station take the Luas to Connolly Station. From Connolly Station take the DART as far as Blackrock Station.
